Benches

Our solid top benches start with a beautiful slab of wood, selected according to your requirements.  Legs and stretchers are then split, shaved and (optionally) turned on the pole lathe.   Wedged, through mortise and tenon joints make for a strong and visually pleasing way of bringing it all together. 

 

These are all made to commission, so dimensions and wood species are customisable.  A bench of this style could also be made from oak or sweet chestnut to make it durable outdoors. Lead times are approx 3-4 months.  Get in touch here to discuss any ideas you may have!
